After graduating from Rochester Community Schools, I attended College for Creative Studies and earned a dual degree: Fine Arts, and Art Education.
After graduating from College for Creative Studies with Honors, I was asked to be a guest lecturer at the University of Rzeszow, in Poland. I was also asked to be part of an international artist workshop. I was fortunate enough to spend just over 2 months working with art students internationally, as well as leading an open workshop for figure drawing for all levels and ages.
I am working towards my Masters in Art at Wayne State University in Detroit. The focus of my masters degree is Painting.
This is my 5th full year of teaching elementary art. I worked at University Preparatory Academy in Detroit for 2 years, and then joined Utica Community schools.
